Carl Vahl has been a practicing divorce and family lawyer for over 22 years and a family mediator for 9 years. Carl graduated from Vermont law School, Cum Laude, in 1984 and from the State University of New York at Fredonia, Magna Cum Laude in 1980.
After handling hundreds of adversarial divorce and child custody cases he determined that there must be a better way to serve parents and children in their time of greatest need. Carl is a Practitioner Level member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, the international organization for mediators, arbitrators and conflict resolution professionals.
Mary Vahl has been a practicing family mediator for 7 years. Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Lynchburg College in Virginia in 1978. Both Carl and Mary have attended specialized mediation training courses and have articipated in intensive continuing education activities in the areas of divorce and family mediation. Mary is an member of the Association for Conflict Resolution.
In addition to practicing family mediation Mary is a licensed Realtor and a Accredited Buyers Representative working for Century 21 Town and County Realty in Ellicottville New York.
